Stamford Twin Rinks (STR) was recently featured in Rink Magazine, which included an interview with Emily Lowenthal Cassella, co-director of the Cassella Skating School. Emily described various programs that STR offers to the area youth such as figure skating, hockey, ballet, Irish Dancing, and summer skating camp. Stamford Twin Rinks is the only facility in Connecticut to be a member of the Professional Skaters Association ''Excellence on Ice Program.''
Their USFSA Learn to Skate program was featured this year in Skating Magazine as the second highest in the nation for enrollment in this program. Co-directors Francis X. Cassella and Emily Lowenthal Cassella head a coaching staff featuring Natalia Dubova and choreographer Lee Ann Miller.
