POSTCARD TO KITCHENER, ONTARIO

Dear Skating Friends,

Silver Blade Tours, Inc. will travel to Kitchener, Ontario Canada for the last competition of 2001- the 2001-2002 ISU Grand Prix Final. This competition culminates points accrued by competitors from the Grand Prix Series. These skating events included Skate America, Skate Canada, Nations Cup, Cup of Russia, Trophy Lalique, and the Four Continents. Last year's champions included Irina Slutskaya the Ladies Champion, Evengi Plushenko, the Men's Champion, Jamie Sale and David Pelletier, Pairs Champions and Barbara Fusar-Poli and Maruizio Margaglio, Dance Champions.

Look for skaters such as Michelle Kwan, Sarah Hughes, Alexei Yagudin, Todd Eldredge, Timothy Goebel, Michael Weiss, Kyoko Ina and John Zimmerman, Naomi Lang and Peter Tchernyshev to possibly be competitors in this event. Other U.S. skaters who competed in Grand Prix Events last year were Angela Nikodinov, Sasha Cohen, Matt Savoie, Danielle and Steve Hartsell, Tiffany Scott and Philip Duhelebon in Grand Prix Events.

Our hotel for this competition is the Holiday Inn in Kitchener and it is the "Official Hotel". The Pearson International Airport in Toronto is approximately 1½ hours from Kitchener and is accessible via taxi. Remember the exchange rate has a great return for your U.S. Dollar. You might even have some time to shop for those last minute Christmas gifts at the nearby mall.
